Custom Machine Builder Instructions

 
  We have made it easy to build a high performance computer in just a few easy steps.  Navigating through the builder is simple.  We will list the manufacturers of components on the left side of the screen, simply click on each of the manufacturers links that you wish to browse through. When you come to a product that you wish to examine more closely just click the "View Details" or image link and we will give you all the specifications we have on that item. When you decide it is the one you are interested in just click the "Add to Build" link at the bottom of the page.  It's that easy.
  
 
  The next category of component will appear and show the manufacturers available.  It's the same process all the way through the builder.  We will only pull a list of compatible items.  After you add a product to the build it will appear in green in the "Custom Machine Builder" build que at the bottom of the page.  If at any time you change your mind just click on the green link in the build que and you can select a different product, if anything you have already choosen becomes incompatible it will appear red in the build que and become a link for you to go back and fix it.  
  
 
  The "Custom machine Builder" is a special order service, because we order the components as needed we expect the delay in shipping your new "Custom Machine" to be 5 to 10 business days from the day you order.

 
  If a item turns red but doesn't become a link you will have to zero out the quanity in the builder and click the "update builder" button, no choice would be compatible (the only time this would happen is on the second hard drive option, one example would be to change the first hard drive to a RAID 10 after already have choosen a second hard drive.  We only allow a total of 4 hard drives).  We will walk you through the build process with brief but helpful Tips on what to look for.  We have made it easy for anyone regardless of their background of computers to build a "Hot Rod Custom Computer"
 
 
  We only carry components worthy of building a high performance computer from.  Motherboards and Graphic Cards have to be capable of SLI or Crossfire (Multiple Graphic Cards, more specifically "GPU's" - this is one of the best leaps in performance in the last decade).  Processors have to be at least "Quad Core" to be listed here.  Operating Systems have to be 64bit to take advantage of all this technology.
